Materials: Sapele, Ash, Titebond III, Tried and True Original Finish, Beeswax
Classic styling with a no frills design. With “Flow”, I got out of the way and let the wood show off. Made up with a less conventional ash and sapele combination, in large enough strips to show the true depth and character of the grain. The bold lines of the ash starkly contrast with the shimmering grain of the sapele, giving it an almost holographic effect.
An aggressive lower bevel make “Flow” easy to move around the kitchen, the high-grip rubber feet keep the board where you put it, and the soft roundover top edges give it a visual and physical softness in contrast with it’s sizeable presence.
Finished with a food safe, all natural hard wax topcoat, it’s ready to take on whatever kitchen tasks you throw at it!
